We are looking for a skilled, productive PHP developer to help building and developing the fortrabbit hosting platform. Bring broad interests and wear many hats. It's a full stack developer position with emphasis on modern Frontend technologies. We are not in a hurry, we are looking for the perfect match here.

  • Experience with modern JS frameworks
  • Good experience with the PHP Laravel framework
  • Experience with other PHP web applications

Your nice to haves

  • Experience in backend development (GoLang)
  • Good understanding of Linux (Ubuntu/Debian)
  • Knowledge of UI / UX / Design thinking
  • Experience with web service operations (Apache, HAProxy …)
  • Experience with AWS infra (EC2, RDS, IAM, DynamoDB, S3)
  • Experience in Kubernetes
  • Experience with peripheral operations (memcached, queueing, centralized logging, elastic search, bind, ...)
  • Understanding of container operations (LXC)
  • Knowledge in other tech, languages (Python, Ruby, Node, ..)
  • A public record of writing, OSS
  • Some German knowledge
  • Some startup experience
